Minutes of the 2025 AGM (30 July 2025) were adopted without business arising.
Correspondence
Inward correspondence from the Geelong Cricket Association noted the club's affiliation letter is in process, an upcoming GCA committee meeting, and results of a GCA survey (no tactical cricket, two international players, and substitute players all recorded for the First XI). No outward correspondence.
President's report
Devon Royce reflected on the 2025/26 season, acknowledging the Committee, volunteers and wider club community, with progress noted across the club's financial position, junior and women's programs, website and communications, sponsorship and grants, venue operations and volunteer involvement.
Special thanks were given to:
Adam O'Connor and David Millar, both stepping down from the committee
Rima Patel, for her work on sponsorship and grants
Adam O'Connor and Kristina Ainsworth, for their contribution to the kitchen and bar
Kira Grace, Maddy O'Connor and Tahnee Beardsell, for their contribution to the women's program
Treasurer's report
Mark Ainsworth reported a strong financial result for 2025/26:
Net profit of $58,003 on revenue of $214,252
Revenue up $39,662 on the previous year; operating expenses down $14,152
Net cash position of $71,727 at year end
Approximately $23,600 secured toward the proposed overhead net project
Planned investment was also noted in the nets, a junior roll-out pitch, and an additional FrogBox system. Mark Ainsworth's financial management and contribution to the club were formally acknowledged.

Other matters
Cricket net upgrade. Around $23,600 has been secured toward the proposed overhead net upgrade at KFC Oval, estimated to cost approximately $28,475, aimed at improving safety in the practice facilities.
N Force Development Group. A new development program for players aged 15–25 launches for 2026/27. Darren Fleet returns to the club to lead it, working alongside head coach Chris Williams and director of cricket Adrian Windt.
Platypus Society. A new past players and coterie group, the Platypus Society, will launch for season 2026/27, led by Brett Bentley.
Playing leadership. Tyson Windus takes over as First XI captain for 2026/27; Lachie Sperling moves into a specialised batting coaching role.
Junior committee. A stand-alone junior committee will be developed for 2026/27, following David Miller stepping down as junior coordinator.
