December, 2025 - Team of the Month

This Month was dominated by the Under 13 Chisholm side, with three players earning selection through outstanding performances.

BATTING

Thomas Archibald (Second XI) topped the batting rankings with a superb knock of 99. The ever-consistent Nic Martin (Fifth XI) followed with a top score of 51 and an impressive average of 90. Under 11 batsman Liam Miller (Under 11 and 13) claimed third spot with an average of 76.

The final two batting positions went to Under 13 Chisholm teammates Will Stone (Under 13 and 15) with an average of 69, and Sam Rutherford (Under 13 and 15) averaging 63. This marks Sam's third consecutive selection in the Team of the Month—a remarkable achievement that highlights his exceptional 2025/26 season.

ALL-ROUNDER

First XI club captain Lachie Sperling filled the all-rounder position with a commanding performance. He scored 119 runs at an average of 119.0 and claimed 6 wickets at 17.5.

WICKETKEEPER

Lenny Robinson (Under 15), another Chisholm representative, led the wicketkeepers with 4 catches in December.

BOWLING

New recruit Angus McKindlay, who recently joined from NSW, made an immediate impact for the Fifth XI with 6 wickets at 9.5. First XI bowler Nick Burke, a product of the club's junior program, also took 6 wickets at an average of 16.5.

The reliable Mihir Patel (Third XI) claimed 5 wickets at 15.8 in his second Team of the Monthappearance. Unfortunately, Mihir has since broken his thumb and will be sidelined for some time—we wish him a speedy recovery.

Fourth XI all-rounder Max Inderberg (Third and Fourth XI) swapped the keeping gloves for the ball, taking 5 wickets at 20.2.

12TH MAN

Oliver Colvin (Under 11 and 13) secured the 12th man position with 5 fielding dismissals, including 4 direct-hit run-outs. Oliver even managed a run-out and a catch while fielding for the opposition in an Under 11 match—an impressive display of sportsmanship and skill.
